Here is a layout from my wedding album with one of my favorite photos of the guys! They just look so good-looking and tough!
There isn't much to this layout, but it was a fun one to make! I took the photo from a Shutterfly book that came ruined with ink inside and matted it on some Echo Park Paper. I tore the edges of a white piece of cardstock and added it to an old piece of Pink Paislee paper. I did some outlining and found some old Thickers that had just the right letter left over! I googled a cool font to cut on my Cameo and added the fun stars! Thanks for looking!

Lovely Moments
Back again with another wedding layout. Once again I am using up old collections! This one is using Echo Park's Everyday Eclectic. I used to buy every collection and practically the entire collection from Echo Park and now I hardly buy any. I do still like them lots though!
Thanks for looking and your great comments!

Wedding Pages Project Life Style
I have been super busy working on finishing up our wedding albums and doing some layouts for some design team calls. I am almost finished with our wedding albums and hope to [will] have them finished by my husband's 30th birthday party this Saturday.
Many of the pages (since there are so many pictures) I have completed using the divided pocket pages and it has worked out so well to compliment my 12x12 layouts! There are many to share! Check back for more tomorrow. Thanks for looking and all of your great comments!

You're the Best - Scrap Your Story
I am back this week for a challenge at Scrap Your Story! I have been so busy that I wasn't able to play along last week, but back again now! :)
The challenge this week is CHILDHOOD! You can interpret that anyway you want. The easiest way for me was to use photos of children. Well, I have tons of photos of my niece Alaina! I just love these photos of my niece with my husband. He just loves that little girl and she sure loves him!

I used a technique from Paige Evans to make border strips of paper. Looking back on it, I wish I would have made the strips a little more crooked, but I do like how it turned out!
I used the Here and Now collection from Echo Park as well as some papers from their older lines. All of their stuff seems to match!
Be sure to play along this week with Scrap Your Story! It is an easy challenge! :)

Life is Beautiful - Scrap Your Story
This week's challenge at Scrap Your Story is to use a starburst/sunburst effect somewhere on your layout! This was easy for me as I am loving that effect on my layouts right now. I have done a layout with the stitched sunburst before, but I think it is timeless!
I got to use this adorable photo of my niece and this bright and beautiful collection from Echo Park. It all came together so nicely!
That cute little dear is from a Basic Grey die cut pack that I though when along cute with this page. I just stamped "remember" on it.
Be sure to play along this week at Scrap Your Story!

Dress Yourself in Love
I am going to keep plugging away at all of these wedding layouts! I had these cute photos of 3 of my bridesmaids helping me put on my wedding gown and they were black and white photos. I am loving the look of gray/white/black with one other color and turquoise is really hot right now! I was able to use the super fun Heidi Swapp transparent letters and the Amy Tan transparent letters.
I love layouts like these where I just pick a color scheme because I just go through and get out lots of different products that might work on my layout and end up using a whole different array! Its so fun!
Amy Tangerine, American Crafts, Echo Park, and Jillibean Soup to name a few! I do really like how this page turned out. Another wedding page done! I am actually really enjoying scrapping them, which I didn't think I would!
Thanks for stopping by and thanks for your great comments! :)

Scrap Your Story - Here's to 2013
Today's challenge at Scrap Your Story is to use mixed up fonts on your title! I do this ALL the time in my scrapbooking. If you check back on last week's challenge layout, I had even more different fonts in that one! This one I have 3 different fonts. One for Here's to and two different kind of Thickers for 2013. I used Echo Park's Everyday Eclectic collection for this one as well.
Lots and lots of cutting of paper strips to make this effect! The patterned paper behind the photos is actually the 3x4 journaling cards and not just plain patterned paper. So if you are looking for a way to use up those cards... here it is! :)
I love Thickers! How about you? I also love using up the NUMBERS! It doesn't happen enough.
Thanks for looking and your sweet comments. Be sure to play along with this week's challenge to use Mixed up Alphas!! Have a great weekend!

Scrap Your Story - Luckiest People Alive
Good morning! I hope you all have a wonderful weekend! Mine will be spent at work for 36 hours! Yay, not!
Be sure to play along with this week's challenge at Scrap Your Story! It is a fun and easy one. This week the challenge is to STAMP! I'll admit... I really didn't use stamps at all until the fun roller date stamps came out and now I use them ALL the time!
For this layout I used the super fun Everyday Eclectic collection by Echo Park. I have just had it sitting around for a LONG time and finally pulled it out to use it! I love the colors and all the fun elements it comes with. I used my [many] roller date and phrase stamps around the outside of the starburst and I also used the "true story" stamp from Studio Calico. Definitely an easy way to get stamping on the page!

You are able to see my stamping better on the close-ups! Be sure to play along this week at Scrap Your Story! :)

Two Layouts to Share
I am back! It has been a few days since I have posted. I worked my weekend this past weekend where I work 9a to 9:30p Fri - Sun and I have worked each day since as well, so I have not had much time! :( I have tomorrow off, so I am excited about that!
I have two layouts to share today. The first is a photo of my cousin and I from my wedding. I took a photo with each of my bridesmaids like this so I am going to scrap each one so that I have each one in my scrapbook! I used the April Scrapbook kit and played along with the challenge, Springtime Hues. It sure wasn't hard with the kit!

Here are some close ups:
I filled the Amy Tan die cut with MME enamel dots and added some Echo Park stickers. The smaller letters in the title are Studio Calico and October Afternoon. Speaking of OA, are they EVER going to release their Winter CHA collections? UGH. Get with it.
My next layout comes all the way from last summer! It is two photos from my husband's bachelor party that I knew I wanted to get in a scrapbook. It is such a cute picture of Ryan and then a great group picture.
I looked in my stash for lots of grays, whites, and blacks and found all of these goodies! I also used some of the die cuts from the Pink Paislee collection.
I cut the stars out on my Cameo and outlined ...everything! :) Thanks for checking out my pages and your sweet comments!

Scrap Your Story - Fling before the Ring
I'm back! What is the challenge this week at Scrap Your Story, you ask? JOURNALING! At least 2 sentences of journaling. Usually, that is no problem for me. When I started scrapbooking how many years back.. I was only 13. Journaling? No. Writing under a picture saying who the person was? Yep.
Rewind 5 years ago. Journaling? Still no. I wouldn't even think to put my thoughts and feelings down on my layouts. I didn't think it was needed. Today. YES YES YES. I even wish that I would journal on my pages more than I do now. I usually have about 2 sentences or so and get the "jist" written down, but sometimes I feel like I am not even telling enough. Yes, there are the pictures to help tell the story, but I want to know that someday I will have the whole story. Am I the only one who feels like this?
I also tend to say a lot of my "true feelings" in my journaling that I may not say to someone's face... or at least not often enough. I really do want those people to know how I feel. :)
On to my layout... There is nothing special about this layout as it is just documenting a bachelorette party. I do have to say though.... This layout is the first time in a LONG time that I actually ripped up something and started over! The white background paper is totally different than it started. I had misted on it as well and it just didn't "go," so I started over with a new piece.

Surprisingly, I have been having a hard time working with Amy Tan's Yes, Please line. Not the embellishments.. but the papers. I feel like there are too many weird pinks, oranges, and blue/greens that just don't always fit together right. I have never felt that way about any of her lines! It is probably just me.
I used the Amy Tan stitching templates again, which I love! Thanks for looking and be sure to play along with the challenge this week at Scrap Your Story! :)

I Love Being Yours
I am here today with challenge #44 at Challenge Me Happy. It is a sketch challenge and I stayed pretty true to the sketch. I had this photo of Ryan and I on our wedding day that always makes me smile. My photographer caught a lot of moments like this where we were just being ourselves. Love it.
I used pieces of the current Scrapbook Circle kit as well as other bits from my stash. I even used FIVE RUB ONS on this layout!! So exciting to use stuff from my stash :)
Thanks for looking! I still have lots of layouts to share from my scrapbook weekend last weekend with my mom. :) TTYL!

Always Friends Forever
I hope everyone is having a good weekend! I just love my weekends off and I always dread the next weekend that I have to work. I am hoping to scrapbook a little today, but first I am going to share a layout that I did on Friday.
Originally I did this layout for the challenge at Elle's Studio to use a large photo. I have a lot of large photos to use from our wedding. Some of them just look better big! Then I realized that I didn't use any Elle's Studio products on the layout, so I probably shouldn't link it up.

I am pretty happy with myself because I used papers from the MME line, Indie Chic that I have NEVER touched! I also used some from The Sweetest Thing as well. I also used older letter stickers. The only new things that I used was the enamel dots and Webster's Pages note cards.
And a close up of the title treatment! I used my Cameo to cut "always." Thanks for looking! Enjoy the rest of your weekend! :)

Shine & Swagger
OK .. So I just LOVE this photo! My photographer snapped a few good shots of this "pose," but this one is by far my favorite. All the guys' faces are just priceless. Sure makes me wish I could go through my wedding day again! :)
This photo is 10x10 and what is nice about it ... I didn't order it like that! After we got all of our professional photos back (and the copyright), we put all of the photos into Shutterfly books. Eight of them... 12x12 books... about $50 a book... you do the math! We did it when they were 40% off around Christmas, but it still was spendy.. but SO worth it! Who knows if I will ever scrapbook all the photos or even half of the photos, but at least all of the photos will be in books so that they can always be easily looked at!
Well.. this photo actually comes from one of those Shutterfly books. One of the books we received had two ink splatters on two different pages. I contacted Shutterfly and they sent me out a new book! What else would I do with the "ruined" book but cut out some of the pictures and use them on scrapbook pages.. right?!

I love this page! I knew there was not going to be much for layering like I usually do, but I wanted to have three embellishment clusters. I stitched in purple around the outside because it went with the turquoise that I used throughout the page and it was my wedding color. I figured I wouldn't be using purple much at all in my wedding photos because well, let's face it, purple isn't used much in scrapbooking!
And Elle's Studio tag is always a good addition to a page!
And a mix up of alphas! I have to say that I just LOVE that Lullaby font and color of Thickers AND I am running VERY low on them! :( A few pieces of washi tape and some gems and this layout was finished! Thanks for looking!
I will Always be there for You
I am back for another layout to share today! Today my layout takes inspiration from the 213 in 2013 TwoPeas video posted on Monday. Two of the prompts were to cut a die cut and to use bokeh on your layout.. so I did both!
I used the Boy Crazy line from MME and cut out the fun colored arrows to put randomly throughout my page. I used gray mist from OA to make the bokeh effect on the right side of my layout. I also used the sketch made by the wonderful Missy Whidden. Be sure to check out her blog!!

Here is a close-up of the layers and fun embellishments! Thanks for looking!
