"Purple Pride"

I have needed to scrap this photo for a long time and finally got around to it. I just don't like doing sports LOs at all so I kept putting it off! There were other photos with it, but I decided not to scrap them and only scrap this cute photo of Ryan and I from the Vikings game back in Dec. 2010.

It is a very simple page, but I don't care.  I am just glad it is done! TFL!

"Miss You"

**This is my second post for the day

I LOVE how this LO turned out. I went out of my comfort zone again and used flowery paper and beautiful Prima flowers as well as a challenge with a journaling prompt. Once Upon A Sketch had a great sketch and journaling prompt of "I Miss..."  I have been meaning to scrap this photo of my grandparents for a long time now and the journaling prompt really helped me.

The flowery lines like this Bo Bunny Ambrosia line and the Basic Grey Plumeria lines are really growing on me!  I would not even buy them before. TFL!

"Cheers to the New Year"

Well! I got put on call today instead of having to work so I guess that leaves some time for me to scrapbook. I had started this page late yesterday afternoon and didn't have a chance to finish it. It is a really plain page and I am not that excited about it. I used the current Scrapbook Circle kit and participated in their challenge to use polaroids on your LO! TFL!

Oh.. and sorry about the crappy photo. I really need to learn how to better photograph my LOs. I am awful at it no matter how hard I try!

"We're Engaged!"

**This is my second post for the day!

I have a stack of photos from last winter/spring that I need to get a move on! I tend to like to do newer photos and jump around, but I need to get all that old stuff done!

These photos are from the day after Ryan and I got engaged. We went to my parents for my neighbor's wedding and of course my mom took some photos of Ryan and I. I was never a fan of the photos (I hate the color of my hair and my eye was wonky in ALL pics that day), but I feel like I should scrap them! TFL!

"A Gift"

I have been dying to scrap lately! Last week I had one day off, I went to an EKG training for two days, and it was my weekend to work. I finally have some scrappy time! Best part -- my EKG training was in the city that has the *BEST* scrapbook/crafts store ever. It is called Crafts Direct and it seems really similar to the Crafts Warehouse that many of you speak about! Needless to say, I spent A LOT of money.

I did this LO for the current sketch challenge at Lets Get Sketchy! In order to be entered in their drawing you have to participate in two of their 4 sketches per month and I had only done 1 -- So I figured I should get on this one!

First off, I used Basic Grey's Plumeria line for this one! I don't usually tend to like many Basic Grey lines, but seeing this one in person (and many others), I really like it! I also like that it allowed me to fussy cut -- which I love! It is hard to tell, but on the fussy cut flowers I used my stickles to add some sparkle. I got a few of the stickles when they first came out, but I have hardly used them. Crafts Direct also had a large selection of the Prima flowers and after seeing them in person, I fell in love. I thought this was the perfect page to add them to! I was also able to add some MME stickers that matched well. TFL!

"My Other Half"

No.. This time I am not talking about Ryan. I am talking about one of my best friends Andrea -- yes, we share the same name! My Mind's Eye is one of my favorite companies so I love to do their challenges. This challenge was just a sketch challenge and the subject could be about whatever you wanted!

I decided to use a super cute photo of myself and my friend Andrea at our engagement party a couple weeks ago. I used all of the pretty new MME that was in the February Scrapbook Circle kit and turned out with this beautiful LO. I really like it! The sketch left a lot of room for interpretation! I love the honeycomb/hexagon pattern - totally my style! TFL!

"Finally Fall"

For this LO I used the Artful Delight March sketch. I used some pretty photos from this past fall when we went to the apple farm. TFL!

"We've Got Charm"

Yay! I got to scrapbook today! I was supposed to work 3-7p, but I got put on call. I did this LO for the challenge at Bird is the Word to use the word "charm." I also used their sketch!

This photo is of me and my [to be] little sister-in-law this past Saturday night at the Belle Plaine St. Patty's Day celebration up town. My city was on the news for having the second biggest St. Patty's Day celebration in the state of MN next to St. Paul. Crazy huh? It was so much fun! I love this pic of us. TFL!

"Mexican Sun"

Yay! Another LO for the day! For this LO I used the journaling prompt challenge at ScrapFit to make a list of some sort and Paper Variety's sketch challenge! I used a bunch of different AC papers! TFL!

"Best.Day.Ever"

I made another LO using Scrapbook Circle's "Best Day Ever" kit! It is so cute and filled with Dear Lizzy goodies!

For this LO I used sketch #199 from Creative Scrappers! I changed it up a little bit, but kept it pretty much the same. TFL!

"You Brighten My Day"

So lately I have been going into scrapbooking withdrawals. I have been working quite a bit and when I haven't, Ryan and I have been doing some home improvements. I finally got to scrapbook yesterday afternoon after I woke up from sleeping all day (I worked the night shift).

I was so excited to use my new Scrapbook Circle kit because it is filled with Dear Lizzy Neopolitan! I was able to knock out 2 challenges with this LO. Issue Challenge #2 at ClubCK to document a special friendship and the March Scraplift Challenge at ClubCK.

This LO is about my to-be niece Bailey. The title really says it all! Every time I see her she runs up to me and gives me a hug. She always makes me smile. I love that girl so much! I love this picture because you can really tell she had no front teeth! :)

I am hoping to scrap some more after work this afternoon! TFL!
