Yay! I am a highlight!

I was pretty excited to see that my layout "{8} Totally Crazy Girls" made it on Club CK's Gallery Highlights this week! I haven't had one on there since February so it was a great feeling! TFL!

Lake Okoboji

I was able to get a LO in today and I really like how it turned out! The sketch is this week's Sketchy Thursday sketch that closes tonight. I used paint and a new Basic Grey repositional stamp to get the background circles. I used Echo Park's splash collection, the Life is a Beach cricut cartridge to get the beach balls (because I could NOT do that myself) and a tutorial from Ashley H. to make the pinwheels! TFL!

What I like about you!

I did this LO for a few different challenges! First I used the "10" theme for the 1 hour challenge at ClubCK! I used sketch # 175 from Creative Scrappers and played along with Frosted Design's Fabulous Friday challenge to use "ransom" letters/numbers on your LO! I used the awesome Amy Tangerine line from American Crafts again! TFL!

Out for a Twirl

A couple weeks ago I won an 8x8 paper pack, buttons, and trims from the new October Afternoon Sidewalks collection on OA's facebook page. Tonight I finally got to doing something with them! I figured the pictures of my (to be) niece at the park would work great! TFL!

I {heart} U

This sketch is from Frosted Designs Sketch Along Tuesdays sketch this week! I used Scrapbook Circle's August kit for this one. I finally used those Pink Paislee Mistables. I was a bit leary of them at first, but it turned out okay!

{8} Totally Crazy Girls

Super excited to be able to scrap today! I actually have a huge medical-surgical test tomorrow on heart failure and dysrhythmias and another test having to do with nursing management, but in order for me to study well and actually retain the information, I need to break up my study time! Plus I've been studying for about a week or so on and off -- so I have time for scrappin!

I just had to justify that! I really LOVE the way this page turned out! Many of the items on this page are from the September Scrapbook Circle kit! There are lots of products from Amy Tangerine and Crate Paper! Check out their kits! TFL!

OH! I also did this for Erika's issue challenge at Club CK to use a number in your title!

Every Family has a Flavor

I finally got a few pieces of the Happy Days collection from Echo Park so I had to use it right away! The LO is from last week's Sketchy Thursdays sketch and a challenge at Scrapbook Circle was to use numbers! I really like how it turned out! TFL!

A few favorite LOs in the past couple weeks!

Since I have been busy with school I haven't been posting my LOs as quickly, but of course I am still trying to find time to fit scrappin' in! It is my outlet!

I did two cat LOs in which I LOVE how they turned out! On the first one I used a lot of the Basic Grey line and fussy cut out all those cute cats! The second LO I like the addition of the arrows to see the focal points of the photo!

I had a lot of fun with the next LO using Echo Park's Splash collection! I especially like the random white stitched circles!

The next LO I did for one of Erika's Issue Challenges on Club CK in which I was challenged to make a LO with facts about me! I used the Simple Stories summery collection and mixed a lot of different things on this LO.

In the next two I used my favorite company OCTOBER AFTERNOON! They are such an amazing company. In the "Rock Out" LO I used many of the elements from Scrapbook Circle's July kit Blast Off! It worked out well even for adults out having a good time!

In this LO I used some of the older OA lines that I bought from the OA Warehouse Sale last spring. The 347 number stickers are from the 5 and Dime line. It turned out to be a pretty cool LO and I wasn't expecting that with the photos I was working with.

Just a cute and fun Echo Park Dots and Stripes LO! It all came together so well.

In this LO I used a lot of Jillibean Soup products and some scraps as well!

I had no idea what papers I was going to use for a Bon Jovi concert LO! I found the Soiree line by Pink Paislee and I knew it was the right choice! I love the colors and the addition of misting!

Next is a very manly LO with great manly pp!

Beauty has no age

This is a sketch from Sketchy Thursday 9.15. I borrowed the idea from one of the design team's (Corrie) layout. I used some of the new Amy Tangerine line from my Scrapbook Circle kit! I am loving being able to fit some scrapbooking in between finishing up school and homework right now!
