Total Tummy Hater

I am loving this page-- which is good because I hated my last one!

I used the current sketch from Creative Scrappers, which I also loved! I dug through my stash of papers and found some American Crafts Hello Sunshine that I haven ever used and thought they would be perfect with these photos of Alaina that I made black and white! Lainey is really hating being on her tummy right now, which is where I came up with the title!

I used my Cameo for the speech bubbles, arrows, heart border, and picture frame! Thanks for looking!

Scrapbooking Frustration!

This LO came out of pure frustration! I had originally started with the current Studio Calico sketch, which looks nothing like the way this LO turned out! I am still not totally happy with this LO, but I wanted to be done with it. I think one of the reasons I dislike it so much is the red CS background. I am not sure

Anyways, it is of adorable photos of my niece, Alaina. So in that way.. it is super special!

Title Pages

I have an awful need to put my scrapbook pages in chronological order, but I absolutely do NOT scrap them in that order... which creates a problem. I have stacks of pages of more recent layouts and gaps where pages need to go.

I wish I could get out of this chronological mind set, but I do really like them in order! What do you do? This page is the title page for the book of Dec 2010 through May 2011. I probably have 50 or more pages stacked up after this book. And what will happen is that I will end up skipping pictures that I probably would have done, but I would rather work on the new pictures! Am I the only one who has this problem?

I used the December Studio Calico kit on this one. It started out slow and I thought I was going to hate it, but I really don't mind it! TFL!

The Christmas season is here!

I have two LO's to share with you today! The first is of a photo of Ryan and I at our family Christmas last evening. It turned out super nice and I wanted to scrap it right away! I used lots of the embellies and stickers from the December Scrapbook Circle kit and then I used papers from the OA Holiday Style collection. I used my Cameo to cut the title. Like I've said before, I love all the gold out there right now and I even used it to match my shirt! :)

The next LO is a wedding layout of my flower girl and junior bridesmaid. Aren't they adorable?! I used a lot of the Dear Lizzy 5th and Frolic collection - it is such a fun and versatile collection. I also got into using the gold again! I really like that gold diagonal washi tape! TFL!

My first Christmas Layout of the season! I used this month's kit from Scrapbook Circle and went to town! I used my Cameo to make my title. I have wanted to do the negative title with another paper underneath it for so long, but haven't been able to until I got my cameo! The Cameo has really added to my scrapbooking! I love it!

This photo was taken on Sunday evening after I got home from work. We had our first blizzard of the season this past weekend and got about 14 inches of snow! I love it! We are set to get more snow this weekend. Fine with me :) It is beautiful.

I am just LOVING the MME enamel dots. I wish I could just have thousands of those in many different colors! They are so cool! I am also loving all the gold out there right now! TFL!

I Love her Chub

Hello!!! I had a day off from work today and it was great! I started this page yesterday and I was able to finish it up today. We have had lots and lots of snow here and I am loving it!

I got to babysit this little peanut on Saturday evening and it was so much fun! I used my Cameo for the "fun" frame which is a cut I got from Lillith Eckels and the heart negative was also cut with my Cameo. I am loving all of the fun stamps that come with the Studio Calico kits. I never really liked stamps, but they make awesome stamps that aren't themey. TFL!

Cameo

I just can't believe I have been missing out on the Cameo for so long! There is so much that it can do. Lots of people are also really generous and share their cut files. As soon as I figure out what I am doing with the software, I plan to do the same!

When I first started this LO and got the masking done, I didn't think I was going to like how the finished product would look, but I do! I thought using all the different colors in the mask would be perfect because the bride had all the different colors in her bouquet! I used more Sketchbook (I just love that line) and made use of my Cameo again. The last thing that I added was the tiny arrows around the outside and I think it really put the LO together!

And more Cameo love with this one of course! I found that super cute heart background in the Silhouette Store and it sure took a long time to cut out, but it was so worth it! I used some of the hearts from the cut in other places on the LO. I am really into the arrow fad that is going on. I hope it isn't going away anytime soon! TFL!

A few Layouts

Here are a few LO's that never got put up on my blog. I have been pretty busy with work lately, so sadly, not much time for scrappin'!

This LO I made from a Studio Calico sketch challenge. I never got to submit it though. I used last month's Studio Calico kit! The photos are from one of our bridal showers this summer.

This LO is of my beautiful niece Alaina. This is my favorite photo from her professional photos. The photographer that did her photos is the same as my wedding photographer. I used a lot of the Dear Lizzy 5th and Frolic on this LO.

This last LO is the first LO I made with my new Cameo! That thing is so cool and the possibilities are endless with it! The photo is from my bachelorrette party this past summer. I used lots of Sketchbook and diecuts from the Cameo! TFL!

Uh oh.. wrong girl!

I LOVE the papers from Glitz Cashmere Dane collection! I only have two of them that I got from kits and I love their patterns. I will have to get my hands on the entire collection.

For this page, I wanted to use black and white/gray with teal! I thought that the pop of the red would help explain the title. As always, lots of layering! I LOVE the arrows stamps from Studio Calico, so fun! TFL!

Love this Life

The second layout that I completed today comes from a challenge at Two Peas in a Bucket. It was a color challenge to use red, teal, and gray. Besides the background paper (which I love and have one more of), everything else was scraps!

I finally decided I should start scrappin' SOME of the photos from my wedding weekend that aren't professional (since I haven't gotten those back yet). These photos are from our rehearsal. It was fun to look through my supplies and find the things that matched these colors! I am likely to use these colors again.. they look cool together! TFL!

To be Thankful...

There has been a lot of challenges focusing on gratitude and being thankful.. which is great! I have now done two in a row and used the same Elle's Studio "Thankful" tag on both! I didn't even know I had two of it! :)

This LO is based on a challenge at Scrapbook Circle and uses the current scrapbook circle kit, Harvest Moon. The challenge was to use the quote, "It is not happy people who are thankful, but thankful people who are happy." Great quote and so true! Instead of doing a Thanksgiving layout, I did a Mother's Day LO! This photo is of my mom, my sister, and I on Mother's Day 2011. TFL!

Thankful for you and a Card

Yes.. you read the title right.. I made a card.. ugh! Not my thing at all!

But first! One of the challenges at the My Mind's Eye blog this month is to create about something you are grateful for! I chose these two photos of myself with my grandmothers from last Thanksgiving. I sure am grateful and thankful for these two beautiful ladies. They both have battled and fought cancer and I am so glad they are here with me today.

I used mostly the Follow Your Heart MME lines. There are only a few things on this page that is not MME -- the "Thankful" (Elle's Studio), twine, butterflies (Studio Calico), and the "family" pennant (OA). I think I did well!

Up next is the card (ugh) that I made for the blog hop going on right now at ScrapFit. The challenge was to use the color inspiration they provided and turn it into a card! If you know me... I HATE making cards. I don't know why..there is just something about it! But! I wanted to be entered for the prize AND I need a card for my niece's baptism this weekend!

Instead of the burlap, I just used the kraft paper and then added browns, greens, and yellows! Good enough for a baptism card, right? :) She is my niece..so it can be. :) TFL!

Ahh...

These photos of my niece are priceless! Let's just say she was not too happy about her costume on her first Halloween! :) I used the photos to tell the story and added the captions at the top of each photo!

I used October Afternoon, American Crafts, and quite a few Elle's Studio tags. I participated in the challenge at ScrapFit to make a banner with two textures. I hope that this qualifies! I used pp pennants, tag pennants, stickers, buttons, and chipboard pennants! TFL!

Catchin' Some Rays

I am all over the place with my photos! I just have so much catching up to do, but all I want to do is scrap my recent photos!

For this LO I used one of the Scrapbook Circle kits from this summer-- I don't know which month! It worked perfectly for these photos of my husband and I and my sister in law at the beach in Okoboji.

The sketch is the current Creative Scrappers sketch! TFL!

Kisses for the Bride

Posting a layout that I was able to fit in this morning before I go to work this afternoon. It snowed today and I was super excited, but now it is all melting! :( Ah well.

Anyways, I used the current Studio Calico kit Sock Hop on this one, plus some Add-on kits. I never know which one because I just throw everything together! The weekly challenge at SC is to use embellishments and color them. I used the SC camera embellishments and colored them with mists! The mists I used were actually October Afternoon Sprinklers.

I am loving the SC arrow stamps, plus all of their other cool stamps they are coming out with right now! TFL!

Sweet as Candy

I just love this page! :) First off, it is of my little niece Alaina! My sister sent me this picture one night and it made my entire weekend!

I used the current sketch over at Scrap Friends, which is awesome btw! I also participated in the word Challenge at Bird is the Word to use the word "Sweet." I used it as part of my title. And for the final challenge... Using woodgrain on your page from Scrapbook Circle.

This page was so much fun to do and came together so well. I used some of the goodies from the News Flash kit from Scrapbook Circle as well as some new goodies from Studio Calico! TFL!

Cheers to the New Year

For this LO I used last month's Scrapbook Circle kit, News Flash. It has a lot of the goodies from the newest Dear Lizzy kit. TFL!

In Paradise with You

Hello! I was able to finish up this page that I started yesterday afternoon. I am going to quickly post it before I head off to work for the day.

I participated in the Sunday Sketch over at the Studio Calico blog. I loved the sketch and I loved Amy Tan's LO that the sketch was based off of. I didn't really use any of the current SC kits, but I used my favorite line Sketchbook! :) TFL!

Pure Joy & Happiness

Here is a layout I created about my sister. She was 38 weeks at this time and this was one of her baby showers. In the journaling I explained that little did she know that her baby girl would be here in 5 days, not at least 2 weeks like she expected! She was so beautiful pregnant. She looked perfect! I love my sister so much!

I used all Bella Blvd papers on this one with lots of different random embellishments! TFL!

First two wedding photos!

Today I received two of my professional wedding photos from my photographer! I am SO in love!! I am also so excited that there will be over a thousand more beautiful photos like this! She is an exceptional photographer!

Here they are! :)

Scrap Room Overhaul!

I have been busy the last few days (despite having to work most of the last few days) giving my scrap room an overhaul! Since we only have 3 bedrooms in our house, eventually one will be turned into a nursery (No, I am not pregnant). Consequently, the bed that is in one of the bedrooms will have to go in the room I am using as my scrap room. Everything has turned into such a mess in my scrap room so I just started purging and reorganizing everything. I went to Michael's and got a bunch of cute baskets (which were 50% off at the time) and started organizing all my embellies and such. I got rid of old scraps that I am never going to use again. I moved my table and cleaned everything up. I am so much happier with it and I think it gave me some scrappy inspiration! So exciting!

I am just in love with this first LO -- especially because it came together so easily! I used October Afternoon's Witch Hazel line. I don't normally like Halloween lines, or Halloween in general really, but this line is so cute. I went to the October Afternoon warehouse sale last week and boy, it was MUCH better than the last 2 times I have gone! I got 12 Sprinkler mists for super cheap plus 4 8x8 paper pads for $5 each and got the 5th one free! There was a lot of good deals (with new product too) that they never had before!

I fell in love with this sketch from Creative Scrappers and it worked perfect with these photos from last Halloween. For the circle element I thought it would cute to use buttons as the circle!

This next LO is a scraplift of Kelly Noel's of Studio Calico. I started using last month's Studio Calico kit, but did not end up using much from the kit! It just didn't go with my photo of my niece Alaina. :)

This next LO is this week's Sunday Sketch as Studio Calico! I used last month's kit and went to work with this photo of Bailey's 8th birthday! I got that "celebrate" washi tape plus a few others at the October Afternoon warehouse sale for $1 a piece! What a steal! :)

One last layout that I made early last week with this month's Studio Calico kit. Just another one of Lainey and I. :) Thanks for stopping by!

Sunshine on a Cloudy Day

I love this page. I love the design, the photo, the journaling. I never usually feel that way about my layouts. I used the current "News Flash" kit from Scrapbook Circle and went to town on it. It was a very easy layout and things seemed to come together very well. The only thing is.. I could have journaled a lot more! This is a photo of my sister and her new baby girl. I wanted to her to know that throughout the struggles she has had since Lainey was born, she is still a great mother and she should never forget it. TFL.

Studio Calico and Creative Sketches

Yay! I was able to get two layouts in today before we head off to Cozumel tomorrow on our honeymoon! I am super excited. Hard to believe the wedding is all over though. I am really looking forward to getting our professional pics back though!

For this layout I used sketch #229 at Creative Scrappers. I have really missed using their sketches-- they are great! I also used the inspiration from Studio Calico this week to create a layout about summer. Well, these photos were taken at the beginning of August in Okoboji, IA at the Barefoot Bar. It is a super fun bar located right on Lake Okoboji.

I used the current Studio Calico kit plus one of the add-on kits. If I get an add-on kit I just through it together with the classic kit. I really like how it turned out! This is the first time that I used the negative space for my title and I am really liking that look!

Forever

The is the first LO I did of our wedding. It is one of my favorite pictures that I have right now. My personal attendant, Rachelle, took it. I did it for the current thought at TTD to use burlap on your page. I was going for a more vintage feel, so I think it turned out well! I used some of the new MME papers. TFL!

A Bunny Tale

It is so nice to be back to scrappin' again! On Monday I was able to get three layouts done and this is one of them. Unfortunately, I may not get much scrappin' in now until the end of October. We leave for Cozumel on our honeymoon on October 12 and the week before and after I will be working quite a bit. I plan to be hard at it again in November! :)

I love these two pictures. Before Easter last spring my niece Bailey kept asking me for a bunny. She knew that I was the only one who would actually get one for her. I caved (it wasn't hard) and got her a bunny for an Easter present. She named her bunny Oreo and she just loves it. Being only 7 years old at the time and 8 now, she really takes good care of him. She loves to just carry him around and he sure doesn't mind! I loved the bright colors in her dress in these photos!

I used Ashley's sketch for the October Sketch It Out challenge. The twist for the month was to add a tag somewhere on the page. I added a Dear Lizzy Neopolitan tag underneath the title. I also played along with ScrapFit and did workout #77 to use a handmade flag on your LO. They turned out super cute.. I am thinking I should do that again sometime!

Smile Girl!

A couple of months ago I came across a sketch blog through I friend that I just love! It is called Scrap Friends and their sketches are totally my style! For this page I used more Amy Tan Sketchbook.. I will forever LOVE this line and forever hoard it I am sure too! The mask and triangles stamp is Studio Calico.

This LO is about Ryan's cousin Miranda whom I have grown really close to in the past year. I am glad that we are family now because I love having her in my life! TFL!

Playing Catch-Up

Well, I am now Andrea Kuenzel! :) I had a beautiful wedding and it was better than I dreamed of! Soon enough I will have pics and LOs pouring in of that beautiful day and weekend. What I am most excited about it my professional photos, but I won't get them for a couple of months. We have an amazing and very artsy photographer, so the photos will be spectacular! Here is just a sneak.. our first kiss as Ryan & Andrea Kuenzel!

I sure can't wait to get back into scrappin'! I have just been so busy! I know I won't really get back into it until November, but I am going to do what I can until then. We leave for Cozumel on our honeymoon on October 12 and come back the 19. The week before and after that I will be working quite a bit to make up for it! :) Can't wait though!

The following LO's are a few that I was able to get in the past few months, but never made it onto the blog! TFL!

I did this LO for Ashley Horton's August Sketch It Out Challenge!

This LO was for Thinking Through Design to use Lists!

I did this LO on my own of my new niece Alaina :)

And last... I did this LO today, also of my niece Lainey! Isn't she cute!? I can't wait to spend more time with her! The sketch is Creative Scrappers!

Thank you! I plan there to be much much for action around here! :)
