This LO is a Sketchy Thursdays Sketch! I will be getting it done just in time to add it! It was of my 24th birthday. I used Echo Park's A Walk in the Park line -- love it! I tried to mix up more patterned papers in it, but I had a really hard time. I really wanted it to be symmetrical! I also added another picture -- had to get one of my Nike Shox in there!! Thanks for looking!

Too Cute!
Here is another LO for my cousin's grad gift. The sketch is from Frosted Design's Sketch Along Tuesdays. I also added some blingy flowers to the LO for the second chance at the one hour challenge at Club CK. I liked the sketch, but I don't know if I like how the LO turned out. In any way, it is still cute!

I wish for just One More Day
Erika's Issue Challenge this week over at Club CK was to scrap something that has changed your life. I thought about scrapping the house we bought a year ago, but I had just done a LO of that. I decided to do a LO about my grandpa Howard who passed away in June 2007 after a long battle with prostate cancer (he also had skin cancer). I have always wanted to do a LO about him, but hadn't yet. A couple of weeks ago I did a LO of his and my other grandpa's headstones. My other grandpa passed away very unexpectedly 6 months after my Grandpa Howard. I would like to do a LO about him too.
I grew up living next door to my Grandpa Howard my entire life and I was very close to him. It has been almost 4 years and I still have a couple dreams of him a month. In the journaling I said "Losing you has taught me to not take for granted the people I love." I never knew losing him would be so hard.

Buddies
I did this LO for a challenge over at Scraptivations! It looks like a fun new blog that I am really going to enjoy! I loved the LO right away! It is for my cousin's graduation gift and it is photos of us growing up! I also used it for a challenge at Club CK to use all scraps -- and I did! Except for the stitching and sticker of course! I like the way it turned out.
Here is the sketch:
My Hero - My Mom
This LO is based on Laura Vegas's LO. For Gloria's challenge at Club CK we were asked to pick a scrapbooker who we admire. I really like Laura Vegas's work and I have even scraplifted this sketch before, but it was before I joined the club. The pictures that I found to fit the LO were from Mother's Day last year (2010). We spent the day at my parent's house and grilled out for supper. I wanted this LO to show just how much I love my mom even though there are pictures of my sister and my boyfriend on there as well. I love my mom very much and I want her to know it!
It was a bit out of my comfort zone making the flowers, but they seemed to turn out OK! I don't think that I have ever used white as my background color either, so that is new!

Spring has Sprung!
I really like the way this LO turned out! I based it off of a Sassy Lil' Sketches LO. I received the CS, PP, flowers, and thickers all from Ellen from Club CK. I tried to find springy pictures so that I could add a LO to this week's contest on Club CK and these photos from potting flowers last year worked well! I used twine to string the flowers together -- I was pretty proud of myself for coming up with that!

Banner Card!
Here is a birthday card that I made for my friend's baby Callie. She just turned 1 year old! I used the banner on her card too! She just LOVES giraffes!
One
This LO is for my cousin's graduation gift scrapbook that I am making for her. This is on her first birthday! It is an 8x8 book. My goal on this LO was to use a banner!
It was a page maps sketch:

My First Blog Post!
I am new to this blogging world! My first LO that I am going to add is of my boyfriend and me. I made this LO for the ClubCK song lyrics challenge. I chose Shania Twain's Forever and for Always. It was even highlighted in the Club gallery!
