"Sandy Toes & Salty Kisses"

I was able to finish out a LO this morning before I went off to work. I got to work and someone asked me, "Didn't you get a call? You are supposed to be on call!" Ugh. NO. I did not get a call! Turns out I drove 40 minutes to work and I wasn't supposed to. Ah well.

Anyways.. this is a LO using some of an older Bo Bunny line and a photo of Ryan and I from Mexico last winter. One of the challenges this week for CK summer camp was to alter a sticker in some way. I was in a bit of a hurry so I just added some glaze to the "Heat Wave" sticker in the upper right hand corner.

Thanks for checking it out! It has been nice to be scrappin' again. There are SO many new lines and collections that I need to get my hands on! I will be MIA for a week or so again. This weekend I have a bachelorrette party, work, then off to Okoboji, Iowa for a fun three day vacation, and then home to my parent's next weekend for my sister's baby shower and one of my bridal showers. "Team Bride"

Today is the first day of CK Summer Camp 2012! I participated in it a little bit last year, but I am hoping to do a few more this year, although I have to work all weekend plus go out for my birthday and one of my bridesmaid's bachelorette parties! :)

The challenge was to use markers or pens and color. They provided a doodled page to color and print out. I printed the page out on a transparency sheet-- which wasn't the best idea. It looks cool though! Too bad the ink doesn't stay well on it. I went over the black ink with a Sharpie and colored the pics in with Sharpies also.

I love this pic from my bach party -- all my friends. I sure am lucky!!! :) I used my favorite line too! :) Oh and the sketch is from ScrapFriends -- check it out, I love that place! TFL!

"Bride to Be"

This LO was a lot of fun! I used the current sketch from Lets Get Sketchy and took my inspiration from my friend Laura's LO. I used my fav line - Amy Tan Sketchbook! It is just too cute. The photo is from my bachelorrette party. I used a lot of circles on this one, something I never do! I even made my own rosette flowers because I didn't have any to match.  TFL!

"Glory Days"

I just love this photo of Ryan and I from the Fourth of July at the lake. I used the 4th of July kit from Scrapbook Circle and lifted Jeanenne's LO from Scrapjacked. I kept a lot of the LO the same, but added my own bits. I am really loving the washi tape craze! On this LO IO used the red polka dot tape from Bella Blvd. TFL!

"Arctic Blast"

I wanted to go with a monochromatic look for this LO and some sort of a wintery look. I got my inspiration from a page of Missy Widden's. These photos are from Ryan and I during winter 2011 when we went up to the MN Viking snomobile Rally, Arctic Blast. I used that awesome bubbles mask of Studio Calico's again! TFL!

"Addy is 3!"

This LO is based from Ashley's Sketch It Out Challenge. The sketch was perfect for the photos I had of my friend's daughter's 3rd birthday. I used Jillibean Soup products and used Ashley's twist of misting. TFL!

"You Make Me Smile"

This LO is based off of a ScrapFriends sketch. It is a new blog that I found from my friend Kelly's blog. They have really neat sketches that are totally my style. I used a lot of Amy Tan Sketchbook on this one. I am hoarding pieces of that line - I love it so much! These are 2 of the many many pictures from my bachelorrette party. I also used the Pink Paislee resist paper -- so cool! TFL!

Ta da! I was able to get one page in yesterday afternoon! So exciting! I used the July kit from Scrapbook Circle and created this page. The sketch is the current Creative Scrappers sketch. This is a photo of Ryan and I from Sunday night waiting for the Belle Plaine BBQ Days fireworks. Definitely one of my favorite things of the summer! TFL!

Long Time No See

Well, I am alive! I am pretty bummed that I have been MIA for about the past month. Things have just gotten pretty crazy in my life lately and sadly it hasn't left much time for scrapbooking, let alone visiting all of my favorite blogs. So.. I apologize for not visiting and leaving comments lately! I feel like I have missed out on so much.

I have been pretty busy with work, wedding planning, and summer events. On top of that, I am having some health issues that are revolving around stress so I pretty much need to tone it down, but who knows when that is going to be happening. I appreciate all the kind words I have received from many of you and I hope you know that it means a lot to me and I can't wait to get back in the swing of things. I have two layouts that I did a couple weeks ago.

This first LO is one of my fiance and I from his step brother's wedding back on June 23. I love this picture of us. I went kind of crazy with the mist here, but it turned out kind of neat.

This next LO I did with July's Studio Calico kit. I got a membership to Studio Calico kits starting back in June, but obviously I have hardly had time to use them! I love the Studio Calico wood veneer items, especially the adorable little birdies on this page! 

Thanks a lot for checking out my blog and I promise I will be checking out all of yours more often again! I sure miss it. I miss participating in all the wonderful challenges too! Guess what I am going to do this afternoon? SCRAPBOOK! :) Yay for me! :) TFL!
