Right Now

One of my favorite things about the scrapbooking world is letter stickers! They are just SO much fun and I love when I get to use a lot on a layout, like on this one! :) I used a gray, black, white, and red color scheme with turquoise as my background. I found this cute saying on Pinterest and thought it would go well on this page. The photo is of my husband and I from this past weekend. TFL!

I Love You

I love this page. This is the first professional photo from our wedding that I have scrapped. I got the idea of the Cameo cut from the Elle's Studio page. I used my Scrapbook Circle kit and all of the fun Crate Paper papers that were in it. The "I love you" cut is a Studio Calico file. TFL! :)

More Layouts from the weekend

Here are the final 3 layouts that I did over the previous weekend! I really like this first one and it has a lot of meaning. It has to do with the fact that as much as Ryan and I want to have a baby soon...we are going to miss this stage of our life that we are in and we need to cherish it! Lately I have been loving the light blue/turquoise color and it worked well on this page!

Once again I used mists as a pen and I just LOVE how it turns out! I used some more elements from the Scrapbook Circle Only You kit, as well as some from my own stash.

This last page was a quick and easy page, but fun too! I used the Midway collection by October Afternoon! I fussy cut all of the arrows and other fun elements from the 8x8 paper pack. TFL!

A Scraptastic Weekend!

heehee :) Just a dorky play on words! My mom came up to my house (she lives about an hour south from me) and stayed over night on Friday evening. We scrapbooked Friday evening and Saturday morning. I was able to get five layouts finished! Tons of fun! I am glad I am able to share that with my mom :)

The first layout that I completed, I used the Scrapbook Circle "Only You" kit. I was hoarding that background Glitz paper.. I actually have another one of it, that I am sure I will also hoard :) Did you know that Target is carrying some American Crafts supplies? I got a very cute Valentine's 6x6 pad, a roller date stamp, and a package of those cute heart paper clips that is shown on this LO!

The next layout that I completed, I struggled with and I still don't like it! I was able to use the new MME My Girl collection! It is such a cute collection, I wish I would have had a better turn out on my page!

Malibu: Sold

A week and a half ago, I was able to buy myself a 2013 Chevy Malibu. I just love this thing! It is such a pretty blue color too. I have never had very new cars and drove the two I had until they started rusting out. This was a true gift for me and it was worth the wait.

I used Amy Tan's Ready, Set, Go collection and it worked out perfect! I just love those little stamped cars.. adorable! Of course, I used my Cameo a few times throughout the page too! TFL!

Baby's First Bachelorette Party

Yes, the title is totally a pun :) The title is based on the photo in my LO, which was taken at my bachelorette party this past summer in which my sister was 8 months pregnant. We kept joking that it was the baby's first bachelorette party!

This LO was a lot of fun to make! I cut those fun stars out on my Cameo and used them as masks to create the misted background. The challenge right now at ScrapFit is to use stars on your project, hence my star theme! I went back to my bag of Amy Tan sketchbook products, which it seems most of my bacholorette party layouts have been made from, but I think it is a good collection for them! I also added in some elements from the Echo Park Today's Story line. They match the Sketchbook collection well.

For the last challenge, I used one of this week's prompts at Two Peas in a Bucket to use sticker frames on your layouts. I had NEVER thought of doing something like that and I love the look. It is the black outline on the right of my photo and bottom of my photo. TFL!

Wedding Photo Decor and Currently

Today I want to share my living room wall that Ryan and I made. It really didn't take a lot of work. All I had to do was pick out the photos and sizes that I wanted to use and find frames to fit them. I got an awesome deal at Michael's on all of them! They have 40% off frames about every two weeks. I searched and searched on the internet for that exact vinyl saying, and finally found it! I love how it turned out! A great way to display our wedding photos.

Then I decided to do the "currently" feature that i found on Amy Tan's blog. It is just a fun little thing to show what is going on with me right now :)

Digging: My new scrapbook loot from Archiver's

The Perfect Couples

Hello! I just finished up preschool screening that I do every other Friday. Oh it is just so fun to see those little kiddos!! :) I can't wait to have one of my own.

This is a LO that I finished up early last evening. I was on a roll yesterday! One of my good scrappy friends, Ashley, made a comment on one of my blog posts that I need to be on a design team. I agree! I would really love to be on one! Hopefully sometime in the near future I could try out for one. I just love creating and with all the neat new products, it makes it so easy!

I made this LO with a little bit of the Scrapbook Circle kit and a little bit of the Studio Calico add-on kit. They worked well together! I am usually not a fan of Basic Grey, but they came out with those adorable white/pink/gray chipboard letters, as well as those cute pink and grey block letters. They have them in a few other colors as well and Studio Calico has seemed to put them in all of their recent kits.

I also did one of the CHA '13 challenges at Two Peas to use 8 different items from your stash. Puffy sticker, stamps, enamel dots, letter stickers, chipboard stickers, wood veneer, cardstock, and patterned paper.

Aren't these fun photos from our friends' wedding 3 weeks before ours?! We were in their wedding and they were in ours! SO much fun! TFL!

Sweet Addy

I just love being able to craft during the day, but I am also thankful that I have a registered nursing job as well as sub school nursing and substitute teaching! I got another LO done today! :)

The base of this LO started with the color of the year, emerald. It is the color challenge at Scrapbook Circle right now. The best way to go was to use the large arrow sheet from Crate Paper that came in the kit. I can honestly say that the emerald is not a color that I would use right away, especially as my background, but I do like the way it turned out.

I started by adding the gold washi tape to spice up the background and then added all the other goodies. Isn't this a beautiful photo of my flower girl? TFL!

I Lovely Love You

I love this page! I took inspiration from the color challenge at Scrapfit to use Aquamarine, taupe, and white! I dug through my pattern paper scraps and found some great papers for this challenge! The photo was taken in Cozumel. TFL!

You & Me

First off, if you want an amazing kit club... SCRAPBOOK CIRCLE! Their kits are awesome, I just love them! This month's kit is no exception. This is the second page I have created with the Only You kit. I also played along with the challenge at Love My Tapes to use your washi tapes as a decorative item! I put the washi tapes on white cardstock and then cut out circles from them on my cameo. Both of those adorable tapes came with the Scrapbook Circle kit! LOVE TFL!

Love Her

I am so impressed with how quickly I put together this LO. I used a Scrapbook Circle sketch and some inspiration from one of the Two Peas garden girls to start with a blank slate and to get messy with mists! I made the heart background by taking the nozzle off of the mists and drawing with them! I just love how it turned out and I will probably do it again sometime soon!

I used the "Only You" kit from Scrapbook Circle! It is adorable! The only thing that I didn't use from the kit were the mists, turquoise thickers, Pink Paislee heart mistable, and stamps. It is a super fun kit to work with! TFL!

All is Bright

I was able to sneak in another layout today. I love this line from MME, All is Bright. So much I named the page after it! I had my final family Christmas at our house on Saturday and got this awesome picture of my niece and I. I had to scrap it right away! :)

I used the current sketch from My Scraps and More Sketches. I loved that it had the hexagons. I can safely say that I am still *NOT* over that trend. :) One of the CHA '13 challenges at Two Peas in a Bucket was to use three current trends. I went with the hexagons, word bubbles (cut on my Cameo), and the wood veneers.

This past summer I bid for an old Creative Memories two sizes hexagon punch. This is the FIRST time I've used it and it came in super handy! 4 of the hexagons on the page are actually from the MME All is Bright sticker sheet, but it is hard to tell. TFL!

My Gorgeous Bridesmaids

I am on call today at the hospital so I am able to fit some scrapbooking in! Yay! I am working with the Studio Calico kit again and used a photo from bridesmaid dress shopping last year. It sure feels good to get some of these older photos scrapped!

The sketch is from Creative Scrappers and I stayed pretty true to it. I also took some inspiration from designer Ashley Horton's layout and used the fun pennants that I cut from my Cameo and the cute heart border on the side. My Cameo is sure getting a lot of use! TFL!

Snap!

Christmas at our house went over well yesterday and this morning Ryan and I got all the Christmas stuff put away! Yay! I devoted the rest of the day to scrappin! :)

I got my new Studio Calico kits the other day and couldn't wait to put them to use! I went all the way back to November 2011 for these photos from the day my bridesmaids and I went bridesmaid dress shopping. I used the red, turquoise, black, and gray color palate for this one. I just LOVE that SC arrow stamp! I used the Cameo a few different times and participated in the challenge at ScrapFit to use negative cuts on your page. Mine is the heart on the right side of the page!

The other thing that I did today is not something I have ever done, but I will probably do every once in awhile when I am falling behind and when I don't really want to make full page layouts of the photos, but still want to document those photos.

I took the idea from Project Life. That is essentially what I am doing, but it is not any everyday thing. I am just going to do it for the above reasons! I had some photos from spring/summer 2011 that I wanted to document, but did not want to devote almost 10 layouts to them! I like scrappin' my newer stuff better!

I definitely do NOT have the feel of scrappin' like this! Everything seems to look the same and I don't really like it. BUT ... I like that I got all of these photos done!

Thanks for looking and I always appreciate everyone's comments!

A very special project

Yes, I know I haven't posted for quite sometime. Back in December to be exact. I've been quite busy with all of the Christmas hype (my last Christmas is at my house this afternoon), work, getting influenza, and decorating our house. I HAVE made time to make a special project for my sister and brother-in-law.

My sister is wonderful. I love her so much. I was worried when she had her baby that she would just get too caught up in everything and forget to take photos. Well, she is taking photos..so I am super happy about that! From that point... I am not sure what will ever happen to the photos. I am sure that eventually she will make some Shutterfly books and probably print some of the photos, but she will never scrapbook them. Scrapbooking is just not her thing. She loves my books and what I do, she just can't see herself doing that.

I decided that I wanted to help her preserve some of those memories of Alaina and the family. It is just a small 6 1/2 x8 1/2 book, but it is something! I think they will really appreciate it. I hope to keep making her one every once in awhile. This one starts at her birth and goes until Christmas. It includes some random pictures and some photos from the important events in the first 4 months of her life. Enjoy!

I used a Smash Book - cheap and cute! :)

Making use of the Bella Blvd collection that I bought when I found out Shannon was pregnant.

The book came with great patterned papers. This particular one I was able to use, some I had to cover up. I used some Crate Paper on this page.

More Crate Paper and the adorable Studio Calico birdies!

October Afternoon Cakewalk. I cut the title on my Cameo after I figured out how to "weld" letters!

This is my least favorite page of the entire book, but it is still cute. I used Doodlebug and I think that is why I don't like it. They have cute papers, don't get me wrong, but they just aren't my style for some reason!

I used some of my left over MME on this one. I am still in love with this collection. The title is a little song from the TV show Big Bang Theory. Shannon sings it to Alaina. :)

Dear Lizzy goodies on this one and a banner Cameo cut. I just love her face :)

MME for a photo from my wedding

Some more MME and the Pink Paislee wood letters

Some goodies from a Studio Calico kit on this one. Shannon took Alaina to Target a lot during the first 3 months of her life.

Adorable.

Some Echo Park goodies!

More MME goodies. Isn't she a doll?

Ocotber Afternoon Witch Hazel. I love the way this one turned out.

More OA. Wasn't she a cute little Zebra? :) I don't think she was a fan of Halloween.

Baptism. I used November kit from Scrapbook Circle! I found a clever way to use the November tag!

My favorite line from Pink Paislee! It worked out perfect for these photos. And I just love that heart arrow stamp from Studio Calico.

I used some of the October Afternoon Holiday Style on this one.

This one used My Mind's Eye Christmas collection. She looked so cute in her Christmas dress.

And last but not least, a family picture at Christmas. I used some goodies from Scrapbook Circle's December kit.

I can't wait for them to open this later! TFL! :)
